During the month of October for Halloween, you can request to add a complimentary "scare factor" to your escape room. Allow enough time to find parking at the Veranda (during peak hours). Great activity to do with friends and family or just in a pair! Also, they have "I escaped" stickers they pass out if you completed a room, but they may forget to hand it to you before you leave (if you're interested). This section receives 4 out of 5 due to being short staffed up front during the early hours if they're taking calls for events, etc. His face just lights up when he talks about the rooms and you can tell he really enjoys what he does here. My first experience was amazing! Jesse, our game master, was the best! If you have a chance to request a game master, I highly recommend him! He got into character for the mini game when setting the premise. Service (4/5): The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There's some creative ways to find clues within the rooms and there may be surprise factors in each one! Most of the rooms I've done look immersive and really stick to the theme. Production Value (4/5): I've been to several escape room locations and this one is by far the best I've seen. Their most challenging room is "The Warrior's Way." The "Last Stop" is the only mini game available, which gives you up to 25 minutes to solve the room. Since things have opened up since the pandemic, my fiancé and I have been on a binge to challenge ourselves with completing escape rooms :D We stumbled upon Red Door through a google search and thought "Why not give it a try?"Įscape Room Selection (5/5): There are 6 different escape rooms to choose from with varying challenge levels (easy, medium, challenging). Sometimes they also run promotions if you follow them on Facebook or are a return player so keep an eye out for that! It's basically where it looks like it is (on the second story above Sephora) but a little tricky to get to - you have to go in the public restroom area, then up the stairs and around a loop to come out to the balcony and find the location. The game masters are helpful and attentive, giving good clues and also other information like if you try to move stuff you shouldn't.ĭo allow for some time to park at the Veranda (parking's always able to be found, but sometimes it's a bit of a walk during busy times) and to find Red Door. I think Red Door generally does a great job of creating interesting escape rooms that involve a variety of types of clues and riddles to escape, and this room was like that too! I'm happy to report that we escaped with time to spare, and didn't even need our extra clue (you get 3 for "free" without time added to your escape time, and an extra if you solve the riddle in the lobby). My party of 6 tried the Warrior's Way room during May 2022.
